In the Doubles events category of the ISTAF Sepak Takraw World Cup 2025 at Patna, the Indian Women’s team showcased splendid gameplay by winning the silver medal. The team lost the gold in a tight contest with the Myanmar team.
Japan and Iran clinched the bronze jointly in the doubles women’s category. In the doubles event, the Indian men’s team was successful in winning the bronze medal jointly with Malaysia.
The final match of men’s doubles was played between Thailand and Myanmar. Thailand won the gold and Myanmar the silver medal in the men’s doubles. The mixed doubles events also started today.
The regular events of Sepak Takraw will be played from tomorrow. The curtains of the Patna Sepak Takraw World Cup 2025 will come down on the 25th of March.
