The projects, covering a wide spectrum of infrastructure, healthcare, education, and essential services, are part of the government’s comprehensive plan to uplift the socio-economic conditions of the region.

These projects are expected to streamline governance and improve public access to essential services.

In a major boost to the healthcare infrastructure, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation for a new De-Addiction District Hospital aimed at addressing the growing concern of substance abuse in the region. The hospital will be equipped with specialized facilities and trained staff to provide rehabilitation and support to individuals battling addiction. Additionally, the DISE Office of the Social Welfare Department, the CDPO Office, and a Child Care Institution will be established to strengthen welfare measures for children and vulnerable groups in the district.

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate three newly constructed Tehsil Buildings, which are expected to improve land and revenue administration at the grassroots level. The launch of a Nurses Training Centre signifies a crucial step towards enhancing healthcare manpower, providing advanced training to nursing staff, and ensuring better medical care in rural areas. Furthermore, three upgraded school buildings will be inaugurated, showcasing the government’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and learning environments for students in Unakoti.

To address the pressing issue of water scarcity in the hilly regions, the Chief Minister will inaugurate two dedicated water projects. These projects aim to ensure a consistent and clean water supply to remote and hilly areas, directly benefiting thousands of residents.

In a move to boost local trade and commerce, a new market shed will also be inaugurated. This facility is expected to provide a well-organized space for local vendors and traders, enhancing their business prospects and contributing to the local economy.
