Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan along with Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary inaugurated the India Pavilion at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Mr Paswan said India’s progress will benefit the entire world.

Talking to the media, Mr Paswan said, he is looking forward to good collaborations globally adding that the Narendra Modi government wants India to become a global food basket.

Later Mr Paswan had a meeting with COO of Coca Cola, Henrique Braun on strengthening the food processing sector and promoting sustainable practices. He said, through this collaboration, they will work towards taking the Indian industry to new heights.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy were also present on the occasion along with other Indian leaders. In a social media post, Mr Fadnavis said, the Indian Pavilion is marking a significant moment for India on the global stage. He added that the Indian flag soars high, symbolizing India’s ascent towards Viksit Bharat, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
