In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to continue the service of Agartala– Bangalore Cant- Agartala weekly superfast special train from May 3 to June 3 next.

According to an official release, the train will continue its service with existing timings, stoppages and composition. This service will also help fulfill the demand of long distance travelers.

Services of train No. 02984 Agartala– Bangalore Cant special will be extended to run on all Tuesdays from May 3 till May 31. In return direction, services of train No. 02983 Bangalore Cant – Agartala special will be extended to run on all Fridays from May 6 till June 3. The special train will extend its services for five trips from each direction.

The special superfast train consists of 20 coaches including one AC 3-tier coach, 17 sleeper coaches and two brake, luggage cum generator cars.

The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available on IRCTC website and through NTES. The NFR has requested the passengers to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
