The Central Government has notified Guru Ghasidas-Tamor Pingla in Chhattisgarh as the 56th tiger reserve in the country.
In a social media post, Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav informed about this decision. He said that the reserve spread over two thousand 829 square kilometres is a new milestone in the country’s tiger conservation efforts.
