Women’s Hockey C’ship: India faces Malaysia; Japan & South Korea draw 2-2, China dominates Thailand 15-0

In the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship, Defending Champion India is facing Malaysia, as the match is currently underway at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium in Bihar.

Earlier, in the inaugural match, Japan and South Korea battled to a thrilling 2-2 draw, this afternoon. Maho Ueno and Saki Tanaka scored for Japan while Mihyang Park and Yujin Lee netted for Korea.

In the second match, China thrashed Thailand with a scoreline of 15-NIL. China remained dominant throughout, scoring 10 goals in the final two quarters.
