
Piyali Deb, a mountaineer hailing from Tripura, has made history as the first woman from her state to reach Everest Base Camp. After a six-month-long journey fueled by unwavering determination, she completed her ascent to the 17,598-foot camp on October 24. Her achievement came after an intense four-day, 70-kilometer trek from Kharikhola, near Kathmandu.
Renowned for her adventurous spirit, Piyali’s passion extends well beyond mountaineering. An avid traveler, she actively participates in various adventure sports, embodying a fearless love for exploration and discovery.
