As part of an initiative to address consumers grievances, Managing Director of TSECL, Er. Debasish Sarkar conducted the “Bidyut Bandhu Apnar Sathe….Apnar Samassar Dhruto Samadhan” campaign under Electrical Division, Jirania at Bodhjungnagar on Tuesday.

 The event was organized at the Industrial growth center, Bodhjungnagar. TSECL is organizing this type of campaigns across the state.

The program was chaired by Er. Debasish Sarkar, MD, TSECL. Tinku Roy, Chairman, TIDC and Biswajit Shill, Chairperson, Old Agartala Panchayat Samiti, were present. Among the others, Bijoy Das,Additional General Manager EC II, Agartala, Officials of Jirania Electrical Division and Khitish Saha, Tripura Industry Owners Association were present in the event along with all the Senior Managers under Jirania Electrical Division.

Consumers, public representative’s, contractors, TSECL employees of all Electrical Subdivisions under Jirania Electrical Division participated in the interaction session.

MD, TSECL interacted with all the persons present in the program. He gave many instant solutions to address the problems faced by the consumers. The Consumers, Industrialists and the public representatives present in the event thanked the State Government and TSECL for organizing such event. MD, TSECL elaborated on different new initiatives and future plans of TSECL to be carried out in the area for industrial development in coming days.

 

In the event, few consumers raised requests for capacity augmentation of Bodhjungnagar Substation, to establish a dedicated call center exclusively for Bodhjungnagar Industrial Growth Center etc. in the program.

MD, TSECL informed the consumers that the work for capacity augmentation has already been started and necessary action has been taken to give new connection to the industrial users.

 He encouraged the consumers to take benefits of different online services offered by TSECL for consumers convenience and told the consumers to use BidyutBandhu App for View Bill online, Pay Bill, Complaint register/Complaint tracking, view consumption pattern, bill estimation etc.

 Sarkar also motivated the consumers for online payment of electricity bills and to flag any discrepancies by using BidyutBandhu App Complaint register and complaint tracking feature. The program ended with vote of thanks by Sri Rajib Roy, DGM, Corporate Office, TSECL. He thanked all the dignitaries and the participants for their active participation.
