Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh and Justice R. Mahadevan today took oaths as judges of the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, administered the oath to both judges. Before his elevation to the Apex Court, Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh was Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. Justice R. Mahadevan was a judge of the Madras High Court.
