With the Panchayat elections approaching in Tripura, Tripura Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha has been actively participating in meetings and programs across the state to formulate and refine the party’s election strategies.

Saha announced that the Congress is determined to contest strongly in every panchayat centre, with preparations underway to fortify the organization at the grassroots level. Over the weekend, Saha visited Khowai district, engaging in several organizational meetings in Khowai and Kalyanpur.

The Khowai meeting centred on critical organizational issues, including the analysis of the recent Lok Sabha elections, detailed preparations for the upcoming Panchayat polls, the completion of voter lists, and the restructuring of local party units. Saha also participated in another key meeting at the Kalyanpur Congress office, organized by the Block Congress.

Prominent leaders such as Women’s Congress leader Sarbani Ghosh Chakraborty, Khowai District Congress President Pradyut Bhattacharya, Congress party leader Shabdakar Jamatia, and State Pradesh Congress Secretary Kartik Debnath were present at these meetings.
