Campaigning for second phase of Lok Sabha polls is in full swing, set to conclude tomorrow. Leaders of various political parties are holding multiple rallies across the country to woo the voters. Polling for this phase will take place in  89 constituencies of 13 states and union territories (UTs). Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has criticized Congress leader P Chidambaram following his statement that the I.N.D.I.A bloc will scrap CAA if it comes to power.

Talking to a news agency in Delhi, Mr. Shah said that Congress has used appeasement politics as a tool to win elections. He assured that the NDA government is committed to justice for all and that CAA will never be scrapped. Mr. Shah also said that three criminal laws, which are aimed at delivering justice timely, will be brought into force on the scheduled date. Mr. Shah will later take part in a road show in Bengaluru this evening.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also be addressing two public rallies in Chitradurga and Bangalore South Parliamentary constituencies in Karnataka today. Aam Aadmi party state President Mukhyamantri Chandru will share the dais on this occasion.
