The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tripura Pradesh leadership, including the Chief Minister, cabinet ministers, leaders of frontal organizations of the party, and office bearers, left for New Delhi on Friday to attend a 2-day National Convention of the party at Pragati Maidan in the national capital. The purpose of the meeting is to prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee stated that the convention would commence on February 17 and end on the evening of February 18. BJP national chief JP Nadda, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, will preside over the meetings. Discussions on the party’s strategy, agendas, and poll review will take place during the convention.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the convention during the closing ceremony. The primary agenda of the meetings is to ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory for yet another term. Leaders, including chief ministers and cabinet ministers of all BJP ruling states, are expected to attend the meeting.
