

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensifies its outreach with the launch of the “Nari Shakti Bandhan” campaign, focusing on engaging women voters.
In line with this initiative, Minister for the Animal Resource Development Department, Sudhangshu Das, led a discussion session titled “Chai pe Charcha” with women from various self-help groups in West Kanchanbari Panchayat under the Fatikroy assembly constituency.

During the session, Minister Sudhangshu Das underscored the integral role of women in the state’s development, emphasizing the need for their independence. He highlighted the government’s efforts to implement various schemes to promote women’s development and empowerment.
The event saw the participation of key leaders, including Unakoti Zilla Parishad Chief Suman Amalendu Das and local Gram Panchayat Pradhan Suman Das. As the BJP intensifies its efforts to connect with women voters, these discussions aim to showcase the party’s commitment to women’s empowerment and garner support for the upcoming elections.
