Indian cricket board (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has tested positive for COVID-19, media reports said. Ganguly has been admitted to a private hospital. He is stable. According to a news report, he was suffering from fever for the last two days.
Ganguly, who is engaged in a number of activities including hosting a television show, was seen last Friday at the premiere of a Bengali film at a south Kolkata cinema hall.
The BCCI chief, who is very active in daily life, was double vaccinated.
In early 2021, the former Indian skipper underwent angioplasty after suffering a mild heart attack.
