At least eight girl students of Subhash Nagar Ratnamani Memorial School at Uricherra in Kanchanpur have fallen ill after taking dinner in their hostel.
Hour after taking the dinner provided by the hostel authority, the eight girl students started suffering from breathing problems and stomach-ache. Food poisoing is suspected behind the sudden illness of the students.
They all were taken to the local hospital and as advised by the medical officer, they were admitted.
The eight students of Class-II to V are- Konarung Reang, Tristan Reang, Gani Chakma, Belisa Reang, Charlika Reang, Hamsangita Reang, Geetanjali Reang and Anika Reang.
