6th Khelo India Winter Games begins in Leh; Olympic Sport Figure Skating introduces from this edition

The sixth edition of the Khelo India Winter Games has started in Leh city of Ladakh. Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the event. Players from 21 States and Union Territories will compete in Ice Sporting Events-Hockey and Skating. Figure Skating, an Olympic Sport, has been introduced from this edition in addition to the existing speed skating and short track Skating. Ice Hockey events will be held at NDS Ice Hockey Stadium and the Ice Hockey Rink of the Ladakh Scout Regimental Centre in Phyang, while Guphuk Frozen Pond has been selected for Ice Skating events.
