The 44th meeting of the Council of Regional Anti Terrorist Structure, RATS of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, SCO was held at Cholpon Ata in the Kyrgyz Republic today. Sources said the Council of RATS SCO strongly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. It endorsed the statement on the condemnation of the terror attack in the Tianjin Declaration signed during the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting held on 1st of this month in Tianjin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently attended the Tianjin meet. This RATS Council meet was organised under the Chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Indian delegation was headed by Deputy NSA, TV Ravichandran. In his speech, Mr Ravichandran appealed that the sponsors, organisers and financiers of the Pahalgam terror attack must be held accountable. The Deputy NSA also stated that double standards must be shunned and terrorism must be fought in all its forms and manifestations.
