In Rajasthan, four persons died and eight others were injured in a mud sliding incident took place in Bharatpur district. Three persons died on the spot while one died during treatment. Police told that the incident occurred at a site where pipeline work for the Chambal project was underway. The company had dug a deep pit before the rains, but the work was left incomplete. Meanwhile, nearby villagers went there to collect clay, and the sudden collapse of the pit led to the accident. The police and administration started the rescue operation and took the injured to RBM Hospital. District Collector Qamar Chaudhary reached the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured.
