In the Qatar Open Tennis, India’s Yuki Bhambri and his Croatian partner Ivan Dodig lost to the British duo of Lloyd Glasspool and Julian Cash, 6-7, 3-6, in the Men’s Doubles Semifinal this evening.
Earlier, in one of the biggest upsets, Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic defeated Carlos Alcaraz in men’s singles. Lehecka showed no fear against Alcaraz as he took the lead by claiming the first set. The Spaniard levelled the match and held a 4-2 advantage in the decider before Lehecka reeled off five successive games to win 3-6, 3-6, 6-4.
