In the second match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 60 runs at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. DC scored 223 runs for two wickets with the help of Shafali Verma’s 84 and another half-century knock of 72 runs by skipper Meg Lanning in the stipulated 20 overs. For RCB Heather Knight took both wickets. 
In reply, RCB could score 163 runs for eight wickets. Captain Smriti Mandhana scored the highest 35 runs. For DC Tara Norris scalped five wickets.
Smriti Mandhana led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to win the toss and opted to bowl.
Australian player Meg Lanning was leading the Delhi Capitals.
In the other match, Gujarat Giants have set a target of 170 runs before UP Warriorz at Dr DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai. Gujarat won the toss and elected to bat.
In reply, UP Warriorz were 7 for no loss in 1 over when reports last came in.
Yesterday in the Opening match of the maiden WPL Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Giants by 143 runs.
