At the World Boxing Futures Cup, five Indian boxers assured themselves of podium finishes after a series of impressive quarter-final wins today. India’s medal hopes were strengthened with victories from Gunjan in the 48kg category, Joyshree Devi in the 54kg category, Ambekar Meetei in the 50kg category, Chandrika Pujari in the 51kg category, and Radhamani Longjam in the 57kg category, all of whom advanced to the semifinals. Meanwhile, Sahil Duhan in the 60kg category went down 1-4 to France’s David Harutyunyan in his last eight bouts.
