In Women’s T20 Premier League Cricket, Mumbai Indians defeated UP Warriorz by 8 wickets at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru last night. Riding on Nat Sciver-Brunt’s impressive 75 runs off 44 balls and Hayley Matthews’s 59 off 50 balls, Mumbai Indians comfortably achieved the target of 143 runs in only 17 overs losing two wickets.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to field. UP Warriorz had scored 142 for 9 in the stipulated 20 overs. For Mumbai, Nat Sciver-Brunt took three wickets. She was declared the player of the match.
