In Women’s Cricket, the first T20 International of a five-match series between India and Sri Lanka is underway in Visakhapatnam. Chasing the target of 122 runs, hosts India were 55 for 1 in 6 overs when reports last came in.
 
Earlier, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to field00 first. The hosts scored 121 for six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
 
India are playing five T20s against Sri Lanka, as part of their Women’s T20 World Cup preparations. The first two games will be played in Visakhapatnam, while the last three will be played in Thiruvananthapuram.
