In Jammu and Kashmir, School Education Department has announced the schedule for winter vacations for all government and recognized private schools up to the higher secondary level in the Kashmir Division and the winter zones of Jammu Division.
According to a government order, the winter break for classes up to 5th will be from December 10 to February 28. For Classes 6th to 12th, the winter break will be from December 16 to February 28.
The teaching staff of government high and higher secondary schools are directed to report at their respective headquarters from February 10 to prepare for upcoming Board Examinations for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th. Additionally, teachers must remain available for online guidance to students during the vacation period.
Any failure to adhere to these directives will result in strict action under the rules, the government warned,” the order added.
