No solution arises in today’s meeting between the state chief secretary Manoj Pant and the Doctors’ Association. The meeting was attended among others by the president of West Bengal Doctors Forum Dr. Kaushik Chaki and the secretary of the Association of Health Service Doctors, West Bengal, Dr. Utpal Banerjee.
Dr. Chaki said after the meeting, that the state government is not worried about the hunger strike by the junior doctors, instead, the state government has requested the doctors’ organisation to withdraw from the hunger strike.
