Weightlifting: Titli Maji clinches silver in Women’s 45kg category

 
Indian weightlifter Titli Maji clinched a silver medal in the women’s 45kg category, marking an impressive start for the country at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, today.  She secured the medal with a total lift of 145kg, comprising 65kg in the snatch and 80kg in the clean and jerk. Parishmita Gogoi finished fourth in the same event. The competition will continue until August 14.
