The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave conditions to prevail over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and West Rajasthan during the next 3 days. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds will prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka during the next 2 days. In East and Central India, these conditions will also prevail over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands till the 11th of this month.
