Wamiqa Gabbi gets emotional as she watches Bhool Chuk Maaf with her loved ones. A heartfelt video shows her family dancing joyfully, celebrating her big moment.
Wamiqa Gabbi, who stars alongside Rajkummar Rao in the recently released romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf, experienced a deeply emotional moment when she watched the film with her loved ones. The film hit theatres on May 23 and has already started winning hearts, especially among fans of the talented duo.
Recently, Wamiqa shared a glimpse of a heartwarming personal celebration on her social media, where she was seen enjoying the film’s catchy track “Hutt Badmaash” with her family. The actress appeared overwhelmed by the love and appreciation she received from her close circle after the screening.
In a heartfelt note posted on Instagram, Wamiqa expressed how much the moment meant to her. She wrote, “What do I say? How do I express? Is there a way to express that will surely reach everyone’s heart? How do I share? It might seem a big moment to some and a small achievement to many. So where do I begin?

So let me just share a glimpse of this night….You’ll have to live my life to know how I got here…. To this particular moment….. To this moment of seeing all my loved ones dancing around me with pride and happiness after we all watched #BhoolChukMaaf together. It was like as if we all won! We all were winners of some sorts! We all celebrated! We all laughed! And cried a little later.”
The video she shared showed her family visibly thrilled, dancing and enjoying the moment alongside her — a testament to how much the film and her performance meant to those closest to her.
In a recent interview with IANS, Wamiqa opened up about what drives her to choose a particular role. She explained that the decision is both emotional and professional, based on how the role contributes to the story and her personal growth.
“I think it’s both. If you feel that you’re contributing something, that your character is adding something to the story, then of course it feels interesting. And if the project also adds value to your work — because you want to do good work — then it’s the same thing. It all comes down to the same thing. When you feel like doing it will be exciting or fulfilling, that’s when you say yes,” she shared.
With Bhool Chuk Maaf now out in theatres, fans and viewers are not only enjoying the fresh romantic comedy but are also witnessing Wamiqa Gabbi in a new and charming light — both on-screen and off.
