Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan has congratulated Indian Tennis player Rohan Bopanna for his services after announcing his retirement from professional tennis and having a remarkable career spanning over two decades.
In a social media post, Vice-President Radhakrishnan said, Bopanna made history as the oldest male Grand Slam winner and the oldest World Number one in Men’s Doubles, inspiring generations with his dedication and excellence. He further wished him best for his future, while highlighting Bopanna’s journey adorned with two Grand Slam titles, in Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles four Grand Slam final appearances, twice each in both categories.
