Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan underway to strengthen farmers’ welfare –

In Ladakh, as part of the ongoing Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra Kargil-1 today organized a series of awareness programmes at Upper and Lower Chanigund in the Kargil Block. This marks the 7th consecutive day of the campaign, which aims to promote sustainable agricultural practices and strengthen farmer welfare. During the sessions, agricultural experts provided training on organic farming techniques, pest management, and the preparation of natural fertilizers like Jeevamrit and Ghanjeevamrit. Farmers were also informed about various government schemes and support services available through different line departments.The events witnessed active participation from local farmers, Panchayat representatives, and officials from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and other allied departments. Public representatives appreciated the consistent outreach efforts of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Kargil in spreading vital agricultural knowledge to the grassroots level.
