Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif and actor Vijay Sethupathi featured in Badlapur and Andhadhun-famed director Sriram Raghavans Merry Christmas, which hit the theatres on Friday.

Katrina, a senior actor in the Hindi film industry, was cheered by her actor husband Vicky Kaushal, who is also praised for his acting skill.

In a long Instagram post, Vicky praised Katrina for immersing herself into the masterful storytelling of Sriram Raghavan.

He writes, So freaking proud of you love for how beautifully you have surrendered yourself to Sriram Sirs masterful story telling and to the complexities of Maria her rawness, her mystery, her magic all done with such honesty and nuance! And that dance uff! This ones truly your best work till date. .

Katrina, who has featured in a huge number of mainstream Hindi films over the last 20 years, occasionally explored diverse characters onscreen.

She featured in Prakash Jhas Raajneeti (2010), Zoya Akhtars Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and 2022 film Phone Bhoot.

The actor, who received critical acclaim for playing several Indian revolutionaries onscreen, also heaped praises on Vijay, who romances Katrina in the film.

#VijaySethupati Sir dont know how you bring that childlike innocence in your characters but its pure joy to watch you bring Albert alive, Vicky said.
