Agartala, Nov 28: Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will arrive in Agartala on Tuesday for a day to offer puja at Tripureswari temple.
According to official sources, the Vice-President will arrive at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala at 10.20 am. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other dignitaries will receive the Vice-President at the airport.
He is scheduled to attend a few other programmes during his stay.
The Vice-President will have lunch at Raj Bhawan after arrival from Udaipur and have a small interaction with the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues.
The Vice President is scheduled to take part in a seminar on ‘A New Horizon in the Development of Education’ and an exhibition on ‘Historical & Cultural Heritage of Tripura’ at MBB College, Agartala.
The state government has put all preparations in place to offer a warm reception to the Vice-President.
Before leaving the state in the evening, the Vice President would visit SARAS Mela at the international fairground here, being organised to promote the rural artisans and entrepreneurs and display the ongoing economic activities in rural Tripura.
