US President Donald Trump issued a warning on Wednesday when asked about his message to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the conflict in Ukraine. Trump said if he is dissatisfied with Putin’s response over the plans to pause the Ukraine war, fresh sanctions could be imposed against Moscow.
Trump’s comments came as Putin attended a grand military parade in China alongside President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Wednesday, and the Kremlin leader reiterated his stance that Moscow will carry on its fighting in Ukraine if a peace deal is not reached.
