In the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, polling for the First Phase of Assembly Elections is progressing smoothly.
The polling, which begat at 7.00 A.M., will be conducted till 6.00 P.M. in the 58 Assembly Constituencies spread over 11 districts are going to polls today. The state is witnessing Seven-Phase elections.
The average voter turnout registered till 05.00 P.M. in this phase was 57.79 per cent
