Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal attended the World Hindu Economic Forum 2025 in Mumbai today. He said that Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is India’s civilizational ethos, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embraced as a guiding principle of global leadership. Speaking at a key session titled Establishing Brand Bharat: Competitiveness in Global Trade, he said that India’s progress is not just a story of economic growth, but also of a transformation in values and mindset.
He noted that policy reforms, new labour codes, digital innovation, and rising exports have strengthened India’s position as a trusted global partner, laying the foundation for the country’s journey towards becoming a developed nation. The World Hindu Economic Forum 2025 brought together policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and thinkers from India and abroad, focusing on sustainable growth, ethical governance and innovation-driven development aligned with India’s civilizational values.
