Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying Minister Parshottam Rupala on 26th Jan 2024, Friday interacted with beneficiaries of Rashtriya Gokul Mission and Fisheries Department. The beneficiaries were invited as Special Guests for Republic Day Celebrations in New Delhi.
The Minister also felicitated the invitees for their contributions to the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries sector.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Rupala said that India is not only number one in the world in terms of milk production but India is also number one in terms of per capita milk availability. He added that the country is witnessing increased health of animals through large-scale vaccination and mobile veterinary units.
The Minister urged the attendees to promote the use of technology in their respective fields.
