Union Minister of State for Food, Consumer Affairs, and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, commenced her two-day visit to Dhalai district on Thursday.
Arriving in Ambassa, she first inspected the Dolubari Class XII School, engaging with teachers and students on academic progress and challenges. Following this, Bambhaniya met with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Sarbajaya CLF of Kulai, where she listened to their experiences and future financial plans.
Later, the minister toured Dhalai District Hospital, discussing healthcare services and needs with the medical staff to assess service improvements. Accompanying her on the visit were Dhalai District Magistrate Saju Waheed, Additional District Magistrate Subhash Acharjee, and various departmental officials. On Friday, Bambhaniya is set to attend the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a district-level event in Ambassa aimed at empowering tribal communities.
