Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr.L.Murugan has said that the nation is moving towards making Viksit Bharat by 2047.
 
 
Delivering his speech at the Rozgar Yojana event at Integral Coach Factory Perambur today, the Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a long-term vision of a developed India with quality infrastructure in all the sectors.
 
 
He said that the vision of former President Abdul Kalam’s dream will be fulfilled if every youth joining the Government today works to develop the Nation as an extraordinary Government servant.
 
 
The Minister asserted that the Indian Railways has seen an unprecedented growth since 2014.
 
 
Listing out the landmark achievements of the railways like building of Chenab rail Bridge and the renewed Pamban Bridge, he said that the dream of a bullet train will also become true when the service begins from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in a six-month period.
 
 
Noting that the Government had redeveloped 75 rail stations in the country including upgradation and renewal of the infrastructure. He said that stations including Egmore, Tiruchirappalli , Rameswaram, Salem Coimbatore and Katpadi were restructured under the plan.
 
 
Congratulating every employee who will join the Government service from today, he noted that out of the 250 persons who will join the Government service in Chennai, 154 employees will join the Railways Department.
 
He encouraged them to work for the betterment with a vision of Viksit Bharat in 2047
