Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Unveils AI-Powered Tamil Initiative, Boosting Language Integration –

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that the initiative to develop AI-driven language technologies in India stemmed from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to harness technology for linguistic advancement.
Launching AI Tamil initiative through video conferencing at Chennai in Tamil Nadu, the Minister said, the initiative will be a part of the wider mission to integrate one of the oldest language in India. He said, people can use Tamil AI to communicate with the authorities.
Appreciating Tamil Nadu as a hub for electronic manufacturing, Mr Vaishnaw said, the State will become a new hub for manufacturing electronic gadgets such as laptops, mobile devices and servers. The Union Minister assured that this path-breaking initiative of Tamil AI will go a long way in not only developing the language but also improving communication for the benefit of people from other languages.
