In Tamil Nadu, Union Minister for Home Affairs and senior BJP leader Amit Shah today criticised the DMK Government for indulging in anti-people policies. Addressing a party meeting in Madurai, he accused the DMK for Tasmac corruption amounting to Rs 39,775 Crores. He said that the law and order in the DMK Government has been in disorder. Mr Shah said that in the past eleven years Modi Government Tamilnadu has been given six lakh 80 thousand crore rupees.
Mr Shah said the State Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu next year is very important for the party. He said that in the 2026 State Assembly elections the NDA alliance partners will have a victory. He said Tamil Nadu and West Bengal are states which need the BJP rule. He also referred to the massive win for the party in Orissa, Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi Assembly elections. He also remembered the establishment of Sengol in Parliament by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The home minister said that under the leadership of Prime minister Narendra Modi India taught a lesson to the perpetrators of crime in Pulwama through Operation Sindoor. He applauded the Government for attacking the terrorists’ infrastructure. He said that the might of the Indian airforce was established during the Operation Sindoor. The Minister said that Operation Sindoor is not yet over.
Earlier, he met with the leaders of the alliance and discussed about the political strategy.
