Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said, only the sports sector can develop all four qualities – discipline, team spirit, patience, and sportsman spirit. Addressing the closing ceremony of the MP Khel Mahotsav in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Mr. Shah said that more than one and a half lakh students, senior citizens are participating in the MP Khel Mahotsav in more than 300 constituencies across the country.
Earlier, Mr. Shah inaugurated a two-day “Earth Summit” at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. During this, he expressed the government’s commitment to increase the contribution of the cooperative sector to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) three times compared to the year 2023.
