Union Minister of state agriculture and farmer’s welfare Shobha Karandlaje is likely to visit Tripura in the last week of this month. On October 27 the Union Minister will visit Assam and from there she will fly down to Agartala.
During her visit Karandlaje will hold high level meeting with Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and officials to take stock of the agriculture related development in the state. She will also review the implementation of the farmers’ welfare schemes in the state.
According to reports the Union Minister may also announce some projects for Tripura.
