The Ultimate Table Tennis Season 7 will be held from tomorrow to 26th of July at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa, with seven franchises competing in the country’s premier franchise table tennis league.
Home side Dempo Goa Challengers will be aiming to secure a record third UTT title. The season will also mark the debut of the UP Prometheans, taking the number of participating teams to seven. The league will be played in a single round-robin format, where each team will face every other team once during the league stage. Each tie will consist of five matches (15 games), with the top four teams progressing to the semi-finals.
The tournament will feature several of India’s leading paddlers, including Manika Batra, Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, and Manav Thakkar, alongside top international players. Romanian star Bernadette Szőcs was the highest-valued player at the Season 7 auction, attracting a bid of 40 lakh tokens.
