Former US President Donald Trump criticized opponent Kamala Harris and claimed that the number of illegal migrants crossing the border has increased under her watch. He also criticized President Joe Biden, labeling him as the worst president in US history. He said this during an interview on social media platform X with its owner Elon Musk.

Republican candidate and Donald Trump has returned to the social media platform X after two years ban from the platform following the US Capitol riots on January 6, 2021. The interview started with a slight delay due to a technical glitch, which Mr. Musk informed was due to a massive cyber attack.

Mr. Trump cited the ongoing Iran-Israel crisis and the mishandling of the Afghanistan situation as key reasons for his harsh assessment, arguing that these issues could have been avoided under different leadership.  He said that the assassination attempt on him on July 13 during a rally in Pennsylvania has made him more of a believer in God.

Mr. Trump claimed he has a deep understanding of world leaders like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, describing them as smart and vicious. He said Russia would not have invaded Ukraine if Joe Biden were not president.
