Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) signed an MoU with The/Nudge Life Skills Foundation to strengthen sustainable livelihood opportunities, improve rural resilience, and empower vulnerable communities across Tripura through skill development, inclusive growth, and socio-economic support initiatives.
A new partnership aimed at improving rural livelihoods and strengthening community resilience has been launched in Tripura through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission and The/Nudge Life Skills Foundation. The collaboration is expected to support vulnerable communities by introducing sustainable development initiatives and enhancing socio-economic opportunities across the state.
According to officials associated with the initiative, the agreement focuses on providing technical assistance to reduce vulnerabilities in selected districts and blocks of Tripura. The partnership is designed to create long-term development models that can improve economic stability and strengthen the resilience of rural populations facing social and financial challenges.
Under the newly signed MoU, both organizations will work together on multiple community-based programmes that include livelihood generation, skill enhancement, capacity building, and inclusive development activities. The initiative seeks to ensure that marginalized and economically weaker sections receive greater access to sustainable employment opportunities and social support systems.
Sources from TRLM stated that the collaboration would help accelerate ongoing efforts to empower rural communities by introducing structured livelihood interventions and promoting self-reliance. The programme is also expected to strengthen grassroots institutions and improve participation in development activities at the village level.
Officials believe that the partnership can play a key role in improving income-generation opportunities among rural households while encouraging social inclusion and economic independence. The technical expertise and support offered through the collaboration are likely to contribute to stronger implementation of community welfare and development programmes across Tripura.
The agreement represents another important step in the state’s broader strategy to promote inclusive growth and sustainable rural development through institutional partnerships. Development experts have noted that collaborations between government missions and social development organizations are increasingly becoming essential for addressing rural poverty and unemployment challenges.
