 Kalasi Cluster Level Federation (CLF) under Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) has been nominated for national-level award.

As announced by the Union Ministry of Rural Development, Tripura’s Kalasi CLF is one among the 13 best performing CLFs of the country to bag this award.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb congratulated the Kalsi CLF on this achievement.

“Congratulations to Kalasi Cluster level foundation of women SHGs promoted by TRLM for being selected for National level Atmanirbhar Sangathan Award by Rural Development Ministry GOI. Happy to see women #SHGs of #Tripura succeeding in their ventures & marching ahead on the path of #Atmanirbharta,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

The award distribution programme will take place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on March 8 next. The event will be organized to celebrate International Women’s Day, where ‘Lakhpati ‘women SHG members who have done exceptionally well in carving out profitable livelihood portfolios for themselves through DAY-NRLM interventions would share their experiences.

The twelve other CLFs shortlisted for the Atmanirbhar Sangathan Awards 2022 are- Aastha CLF (Chhattisgarh), Jonthri CLF (Rajasthan), Durga CLF (Madhya Pradesh), Chetana CLF (Karnataka), Divyajyoti Sanjeevani Grama Panchayat Mattad Mahila Okutta CLF (Karnataka), Nitya Sangha Mahila Self Help Group Co-operative Society Ltd. (West Bengal), Dhansiri CLF (Assam), BLF Ariyankuppam (Puducherry), Nandigama Mandal Mahila Samakhya (Telengana), Adarsh Mandal Mahila Samakhya (Telengana), Navprabha Mahila Prabhangsangh (Maharashtra), and Sangham CLF (Bihar).
