Tripura’s Diwali celebrations concluded peacefully, with Director General of Police (DGP) Amitabh Ranjan commending the tireless efforts of Tripura Police and other security forces in maintaining a safe and incident-free environment across the state. Extending Diwali wishes to the people, the DGP acknowledged the collective efforts of security personnel in ensuring a serene festive season that began with Durgotsav and continued through Diwali.

Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and the state government, DGP Ranjan highlighted recent welfare measures announced ahead of Diwali, including an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA), ration money, and uniform allowances. “These measures have greatly boosted the morale of the police force,” he said, underscoring the government’s support for personnel engaged in maintaining peace.

The DGP’s statement reflected a sense of satisfaction at the calm celebrations and reemphasized Tripura Police’s commitment to public safety, reinforcing a sense of security for the people of Tripura during the festive period.
