In a major boost to international employment opportunities, Trishna Sarkar, a nursing candidate from Udaipur, Tripura, has secured a nursing job in Japan with a minimum monthly salary of ₹1 lakh. This achievement comes under the initiative of the Directorate of Skill Development, Government of Tripura, in collaboration with NSDC International.

Trishna successfully completed a nine-month Japanese language course in New Delhi, with all training, travel, and related expenses covered by the state government. Her success has encouraged six other nursing candidates from Tripura to prepare for similar job opportunities abroad. The state government has assured financial support for their training and travel expenses as well.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to skill development and international employment for the state’s youth. The move is expected to open new avenues for healthcare professionals in Tripura while strengthening India-Japan ties in the medical sector.

The Director of Skill Development, Mhd. Sajad P., shared this information today in an official press release, emphasizing the government’s continuous efforts to enhance career prospects for young professionals.
