Challa Fru Mog, who was recently abducted in Bangladesh, returned home on Friday.
The BGB handed over the Mog, a resident of Mogpara at Radhanagar under PR Bari police station in South Tripura district, to Border Security Force in the presence of Immigration and police officials of both the countries- India and Bangladesh.
Based on grievances raised by Swapna Mog, wife of Challa Fru Mog, the Border Security Force approached the BGB at the appropriate level. The BSF and BGB acted in tandem displaying synergy, facilitating the safe return of the state’s resident.
The woman lauded the prompt and effective action taken by the BSF.
In a statement, the BSF reiterated that the force is steadfast in its commitment to safeguard the interests of the border population.
