Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha laid the foundation stone and performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the 51 Shaktipeethas Park at Banduar in Gomati district of the state on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Saha highlighted the significance of the park’s location, situated just a few kilometers from the revered Mata Tripureshwari Temple (Matabari), one of the 51 Shaktipeethas. He expressed confidence that the project would provide a major boost to the state’s economy and spiritual tourism.
Spread over 15 acres, the park will feature a digital museum, amphitheater, sky bridge, ample vehicle parking, and one of the tallest statue of Nataraj.
Once completed, the 51 Shaktipeethas Park will serve as a world-class cultural and spiritual tourism hub, celebrating the heritage of Shakti worship in Hinduism while incorporating modern infrastructure and community spaces.
